Does it matter to you at all? Are you for or against the trans-fat bans? What keeps you from gathering and insisting on trans-fat free restaurants?

In response to sheowlf, you're right. My parents made it a point to sit down and eat and now that I'm married we make sure we sit down and eat. We know it's time to slow down when we can't even have a meal together. I'm only 22 so I guess I still fit into the 'kid' category, but perhaps it does have a lot to do with how much parents emphasized mealtimes. Food and mealtimes are a high priority in our household.

If they were less expensive and had no tax on them, yes, I would buy more organic than processed foods.
Since making a few changes in diet to say, 100% fruit juices (no high fructose corn syrup whatsoever), I have contributed to my weight loss by at least 5%.
And I look and feel a little bit better than I would otherwise.
I think it is wise to ban trans-fat because that stuff is horrible.
I think it would be wise to ban growth hormones and pesticides as well.

Yes I definately would. Right now I'm on a budget so I can't afford to. As for the trans-fat ban, I'm all for it, although it does not really matter for me personally, since I rarely eat at restaurants and even when I do go out to eat, I don't eat fried foods. My boyfriend and I take turns cooking at home, but we do have a bad habit of eating in front of the TV instead of a dining room table (which we don't even have, lol)

Yes, I would. My produce is my most important purchase, so I do spend the extra money there.
It all just depends on my budget for the week.
And on the restaurant thing, I just try and order what would be best for me on the menu. It feels like an empty fight, kids nowadays growing up on fast food and all.
What ever happened to the family that sat down and had dinner together every night so they could catch up with the family unit?

I would. Some are just too costly.I like sit-down meals with my family, even though I'm 16.I don't even like alot of fast food,I'd rather eat a homecooked meal everyday than fast food atleast 3 times a week.
Organic=nice.I'm even starting to get into organic clothes.haha.

you may truly bust your funds in this yet you additionally can reason costly problems with feeding low-priced. right here is the place I draw the line. look for the checklist of aspects, not the flavour on the front however the significant factors checklist of what's in it. If the 1st element is floor corn, walk away. it would be meat. as quickly as you get that down, you may initiate off staring at different positive factors. i like purina One too, effective stability between the wallet and the well being of the cats.

If the foods were less expensive, more readily available, and truly ORGANIC instead of just something that a company slapped a buzz-word label on, I would buy them.
