whatever you decide, please don't name your child an off the wall name, they have to grow up with it and other kids are very mean and tease these children merilessly (I used to be a teacher, and saw it all the time, kids calling girls named Hannah "Hannah Banana" or Emma, "enema". It was very sad.)
I have a boy and a girl and while I didn't name them John and Mary, they're names aren't what you hear every day either.
Richard and Gina. They both like their names, unlike me....who has a very common name but spelled the "different way" so I've had to go thru life spelling and correcting my name for everyone....grrrrrr.

Everyone is making up new names lately. Why not just use a good old time name. Mary, Susan, Becky, Linda, Rachael, Mable(LOL) Michael, Edward,George, Andrew , Matthew.
