How many time normally married couple in US having sex a week?

That is a difficult question to answer but it is different for different people. Different people have different sex drives and it depends on how long you have been married.

For instance newlyweds generally have six 5 days a week and sometimes multiple times on those days.

It settles into a routine of about 4 times a week with multiple times on the weekend days.

Older married couples tend to have sex twice a week.

Much older couples, over the age of 55 - tend to have sex once a month.

But again it depends on the sex drive and the health of the individuals. It can be more or less.

I don’t live in USA, but I have recently seen in the statistic, that the average sexual activity in married couples or steady partnerships is much less than Europeans... sounds strange to me, as I had an American boy friend while I studied in USA for 1 year and we had lots of sexual activity... to be honest, more than here back home.
Well, all I can say is, that they say, that Spanish couple have more sex than elsewhere and I said... hmmm, I should show this to my husband...
Really, day-to-day life kills passion and sometimes when we comes home from work all we want to do is relax and watch the TV...

10 years married, we normally have around 3 times per week, but when we go on a trip or away for a weekend things change very positively and we are more relaxed and joyful... so sex happens naturally.
But who can afford it to go away each weekend???
And guys always say, that women do not like to “do it” as often as they would like to… hahahahahahaha!

Almost every married guy I know is constantly complaining about the lack of sex. They may be lucky if they get it once a week or 3 times a month. It seems the longer they are married, the worse the problem gets. After reading all the women's postings, I question this. Look at the guys answers and then look at the girls answers. It would seem someone is stretching the truth. Ladies, you shouldn't include how many times your soap studs make it on Guiding Light! He's talking about your hairy backed, beer belly having husband.

I think the real answer is that people have sex as often as they want to. Some will have it more than once a night, others maybe once a week, once a month or whenever. Sex can take many forms, some more athletic than others. If you want sex right now, maybe your boyfriend doesn't...and maybe he does and you don't. But when you both want it, that's when you'll have sex. Which is when everybody else has it...when they want it and the circumstances permit.

Just a little under a year of marriage here, but we're usually at or around 3 - 4 times a week. Thoroughly depends on what's been going on, but by goodness... i wouldn't mind it a little more! ;)

my husband doesnt like to have sex during the week becasue he is tired from work. thats crap. he had the same job when we married and we had sex all the time. i think we really only have sex once a month. very very sad!!
