Whenever I have to show my passport of ID card, everybody looks the picture twice and the question "Is that YOU?" follows....

I do not look like criminal, but anyway, not the way I really look or the way I look in other pictures I am in. Yet, once an official flirted me heavily, even having looked at that non flattering picture in my passport..

No no I do not look like a criminal at all. On the contrary I have a very nice face and when I have to show my papers to them, officers see my photo on the documents, they feel very happy and start laughing and looking the picture and call others to come and see too. So much they like my picture and I am proud and smile happy.

My passport pic makes me look like a wanted guy, only one of them though, in the other official documents i look like a plain psycho because i tried to crack a smile while having the picture taken

I hate those official pictures, not only me but all friends whose pictures I have seen in documents, look like morons, criminals, seriously ill. I do not really care because I never have to show any documents to people to whom I want to be friends or closer with. Thank God.

I have seen this before, in video documentaries that I have seen on line. It seems that every time he speaks anywhere, they set up these tiny little free speech zones, and they are far enough away from the action that he is protected from seeing or hearing any of the dissenters. I have also seen documentary film makers, on their own films, thrown out of places because the politicians and officials were unwilling to give honest answers to tough questions. Are we really sure that we are actually still living in America? *sm*

I often wondered why these photos look so harsh. Maybe it is a way the State does not wish to make us arrogant.... I change hair colours quite often so in almost every document, I have different hair colour. This causes troubles, most of the times they look at me with disbelief and I feel awkward.

when i travel sometimes my passport picture and me look slightly different,those double looks checking,one immigration official once even made me repeat my personal data and was like a school test ,those pictures are way strange i dont know why

well... actually at my ID I look hot as they say... at my passport it is a decent one, but by no means a good one... and at my drivers license I look like a retard... You wouldnt ever recognize its me... You cant tell... :)
Sometimes I even wonder why on earth did they give it to me - the driver's license - with such pic on? :) Isnt there some sort of casting procedure before ?:P

yes, my passport and driver's license pics both look like a mug shot, even though I normally don't look like that ... I just felt dumb asking them to take the picture again!

lol! Mine usually look like I was stoned or something. I don't know why I've never smoked or drunk before, huh. I think it's the camera's fault! Let's petition to have a decent camera to make our pictures look like we're movie stars! hehe! ; )
