Did your life turn out to be what you expected it to be, or did things go completely different? I mean if you planned something did it come true?

No. Moving on to uni life, I always though everything would get better. New friends, new environment, being an adult now, reponsibilities, maybe I'll even find a partner.

Well, everything started well, but now, 4 years on, everything went downhill lol.

I don't have much friends (though the ones I have are some of the best friend I ever had in my life). I fell in love and though everything would work out wonderful between us, but now I spend my days missing her and wishing I could talk to her right now.

My studies, I don't even wanna go into the details of it. Not pretty at all. Always though I would do just fine but my grades are a tragic now.

Nothing turned out like what I always imagine and expected it to be 4 years ago.

At 25, I am definitely not where I want to be in life. But, hopefully I still have time to do the things I still want to do, and go the places I want to go.

I have a lot of plans for the future, and I know that I'm the only one who can accomplish them.

I'm 20, never had a relationship or gf or anything because my parents killed my self-esteem completely, I've lost all motivation for school, I live with my parents and no sign of moving out anytime soon, my self image and confidence are crap, I'm on anti-depressants and suffer from clinical depression, for my last birthday the only thing I could think about was wanting to kill myself because I hate my life, I've tried to kill myself several times, I now do drugs excessively and I HATE MY LIFE!!

Is my life what I wanted it to be?... Hmmmm

What do you think?

No, it didn't turn out like what I had imagined, but what kid knows enough to come up with a competent plan anyway? I look at it this way, if you're happy with where you're at, then everything that has happened has been worth it.

there were a lot of rough spots along the way, which I would not want to relive, but I know if my high school self were to see what I have become now I would blow myself away.
