It is more dysfunctional than not. In a lot of the categories, I just read and answer for a laugh.

I've only been here for a few days and it seems okay - not as bad as Myspace though, I was a diehard regular there.
But saying that we all need dysfunction to function.

When you bring lots of people together with very little expertise and strong opinions to answer questions, it is bound to be dysfunctional.

The place is OK., and "your question is OK. so i opened it.
The "category" itself is very dysfunctional, by many of the
people who have wasted time to post a stupid question on there,
just to get attention, or to "stir the mustard" for others in
a hateful manor.
That is why I normally stay out of P&S. <}:-})
