It ranks right up there with "good rockish punkish songs?? I like mcr, 30 stm, linkin park, saosin, and three days grace...please recommend some othrs." That mentality keeps Hot Topic in business but it makes the rest of us want to hurl. Someone failed to explain to the children that punk isn't a franchise like a Big Mac.

If you want punk music I would say try the internet or an independent record store. As far as the fasion and everything else I could care less, and as far as the guy quoting jello biafra, If I wanted to listen to bulwinckel Id go buy the cartton on dvd, The whole we're punks, your jocks is the biggest evil in the world, people should concentrate on music and coming together, not finding identiy in a pipe dream called punk, make and listen to music like you want, and in the old days there were tons of bands that simply ruled and they were called punk bands, Since then people started making it as annoying as a school rule book. i clearly shy away from anyone or anything punk, except for those few great great rock n roll bands, that musically are best described punk. I know I know punk is about more than music blah blah blah, no one cares cus the music is what matters to me. I have may own attitue and beliefs thank you.

punk is about the music, punk is about the attitude. people who want to buy something punk are wannabes who think that they can mix in with true punks just buy wearing whatever it is that socioty seems to think that punks wear. Meanwhile, half of them cant stand listening to the ramones and misfits

My thoughts..., "it's right next door to that place where you can buy a life and across the street from that shop where you can buy a mind of your own"
But if they were looking to dress up as a "punk" for Halloween than Hot Topic (holding back vomit) would be the place to go.

Spencer quoeted from Jello Biafra lyrics,i thinks it's pathetic, i don't really bother wasting my time answering those question it's very oxymoron and ironic when people say there punk & ask where to buy something "punk "to look punk & may say there so "very unique" oxymoron?why not

that they are not really "punk" they are posers. Or they just moved from another country... most likely the first one... anyhow, HOT TOPIC :) but otherwise you can always find a T or pants that can look good in any other store, you just have to know where to look

My first thought is that a well placed bullet would take them out of the gene pool, but hey, what can you do with kids these days. They just don't get it. Everything is all about materialism. Then again, what do you expect when Ramones songs are being used on TV commercials. *sigh*

Kinda reminds me of when grunge was all the rage and Versace and other high-end fashion houses were duplicating the looks that the musicians created from shopping at thrift stores.
LOL - it's really pretty pathetic.

punk isn't clothing. punk is an attitude, or a way of thinking.

It makes me want to hurl. As Jello Biafra so aptly put it "punk ain't no religious cult, punk means thinking for yourself. You ain't hardcore when you spike your hair if a jock still lives inside your head!"
Enough said!
