If you are sexually active you could be pregnant. Just go buy a three pack of tests from Wal-Mart and do them all to make sure the test isn't faulty. The best time to pee on the stick is right after you get up in the morning as that is when the hormone content is strongest. Malnutrition can cause you to miss your period. I advise that you find your local food bank, soup kitchen, or some churches to help you with your food situation. That is what they are there for and no one will think you are a bad person at all. If you can't afford the test, go to the local health department and they can test you and get you on medicaid for you and the baby so you can get proper medical attention throughout the pregnancy. Good luck.

Going more than 3 months without a period is unhealthy and puts you at an increased risk of uterine cancer. If you're not having one at least that often then you should either take progesterone to start your period or birth control pills to keep you regular. Your periods shouldn't be out of whack at the age of 15 unless you just began menstruating last year. You may have a condition such as PCOS which is causing your irregularity or perhaps a hormonal imbalance or weight issue (too thin, overweight). You should see your gyno and get a blood test done to check your hormone levels as well as an ultrasound to check for cysts on your ovaries (which is a sign of PCOS).

You could be missing your period for a number of reasons, such as malnutrition, change in weight, stress, pregnancy, etc. It is best to rule out pregnancy first, then it will be easier to help determine the cause.

Yes, stress and malnutrition can BOTH affect your menstrual cycle. I served in the military for six months, and I didn't get my period at all while I was there due to the stress of basic training, and the fact that the meal times are too short.
[I also dropped to 107 lbs. (I'm 5'9").]

Stress DEFINITELY can affect when your body releases the egg (ovulates), and if you don't ovulate, you don't get your period. Voila! I think it's our body's way of saying, "Hey, you're not ready to have a baby right now!!"
You can also not have periods if you don't have at least a certain percentage of body fat (I can't remember what it is right now). See if you can relax, and your body may start ovulating and menstruating again. Good luck!
