Most of them are already doing that and not telling us anything about what they are doing with the technology. Maybe China will help out once they start going into space without the permission of the U.N. or U.S.A.

UFOs and the word peace are very much alike. Neither one exist in the real world. So what you are doing is wishing for two things that don't exist in the real world.
Try if you can to imagine 1,000 miles. Then try to imagine 1 million miles. Then try to imagine the distance of 1 light year which is 5.8 trillion miles. Very big. Now multiply that by just even 100 light years. The distance is too great for interstellar travel. It can't happen. No UFOs. You have a better chance of having real world peace before you ever see a real spaceship from a extraterristial being.

As for as maintaining peace in the planet is concerned do we really require assistance of the aliens ? We can achieve total peace by altering our own line of thinking. If the aliens had a superior technology than ours, they would not have shied away from earth people for such a long time. The very existence of the UFO and aliens is questionable and shrouded in mystery.

Getting ALL of the countries in the world to agree on ANYTHING would be impossible, or at least, extremely improbable.
Even if we were to come across some 'alien' technology, what makes you so sure anyone would use it in peace?

If you could get all the countries of the world to cooperate in anything, there would be peace on Earth.

You can't use a technology for peace. Peace is an attitude, and you won't find it inside a crashed spaceship.
