I am the wife and I have never been able to do any of those things in front of either of my hubands. I was married 20 years the first time and I am in my 8th year of marriage to my second husband. I think there are some things that should stay private and not shared even with the one you love.
My husband, on the other hand, is totally different. He never shuts the bathroom door when he uses the bathroom. He has no problems wiping his rear end with me standing there brushing my teeth - something I coiuld do without but it is not worth arguing about.
I beleive there should still be mystery and romance between a couple and there is NOTHING romantic about changing a tampoon or taking a douche. I think it ruins the romantic image they may have for you.

I'm 36, married 1 year together for 7 years, outside of going number 2 and menstrual care, pretty much everything else I know some people don't like that but some people also just don't have issues. But get this, I don't like to pass gas in front of him.

Actually, my husband and I share no bathroom rituals beyond brushing teeth/removing contacts/showering. We have been married for less than a month, but he was married for 12 years prior to this and the bathroom stuff had been kept private then too. I guess we just feel that some things don't deserve an audience...after all, we do so many other things together...why not just do these things in peace? :)

Together 3 1/2 years married 2 1/2 of those...
I do everything in front of him. I could careless and if he doesn't want to see then he can leave the bathroom.
He'll do #1 but not #2 but that is slowly changing now that we have another kid.

My partner (do not believe in marriage) have been together for 8 years now. We will pee in front of each other. Not anything really gross though. I have removed gauze from his mouth after dental surgery and replaced it, and he has helped me through 3 c-sections, even took pictures of our 3rd while she was being born, and watched me have my tubal. We don't think it is gross, I would do anything for him even when he is old and needs diapers and drool rags. Nobody else can say anything, this is our life and if we are comfortable doing those types of things with each other, then who is anyone else to judge?

We don't share our hygiene or digestive bodily functions with each other. We have known each other for 25 years, dated five, married three. There is a lot to be said for keeping a little mystery between you. I don't want to view these things and thankfully neither does my husband. You have to work hard to keep the chemistry going in a marriage, but with those types of visuals in your head, it would be a lot more difficult.

nice question. We will pee with one another close by, but nothing else whatsoever! One time my sister in law went in the bathroom with my wife in there putting on her makeup and took a dump. Don't remember how this got brought up, but my wife told me. Evidently it did not bother either of them, but that is just sick as hell. I don't want anyone NEAR me when I crap and I don't want to be near you when you crap. And menstrual stuff..an even bigger HELL no.

There's nothing I haven't seen my wife do, and it's the same for her. True, I'm not interested in seeing her menstrual activity or toilet actions, but when you live together, you just get used to it. We're adults - there's nothing shocking about it.
