I sure hope so, I'd love to see him try to rebut this in a debate:
British Court Rules Al Gore Film Exaggerated Climate Claims
Thursday, October 11, 2007
Lewis Smith
Al Gore’s award-winning climate change documentary was littered with nine inconvenient untruths, a judge ruled yesterday.
An Inconvenient Truth won plaudits from the environmental lobby and an Oscar from the film industry but was found wanting when it was scrutinised in the High Court in London.
Justice Burton identified nine significant errors within the former presidential candidate’s documentary as he assessed whether it should be shown to school children. He agreed that Gore’s film was “broadly accurate” in its presentation of the causes and likely effects of climate change but said that some of the claims were wrong and had arisen in “the context of alarmism and exaggeration.”

I really think you guys (on the left) should recruit Gore. I think its a great idea as one who is opposed to any current Democratic candidate (just don't like any of them). Since Gore's focus would be global warming it would bring the issue to the fore front so it could be debated properly rather then presented as religous fact. Then Gore will go down with the worlds temperature.
The line used against Gore that cracks me up:
I didn't invent the Internet but I created Global Warming.

I don't think Al Gore has a chance, he has had a good time with global warming but should not end it with a loss. Too many people don't believe him or think he has economic/political reasons alone for the warming campaign. Plus he does not set a good example or practice what he preaches, so he may very well be portrayed as a fraud. I personally don't believe anything that comes from him. Sorry not trying to rant, I appreciate his efforts in conservationism but too many people like myself don't take him seriously.
Plus RON PAUL would demolish him in the election.

I think it would be a smart move for the Democrats. Hillary Clinton is certainly no Bill Clinton and has a negative rating of >45%. That is simply too much for her to win. Al Gore is their best bet, but I don't think he wants the headaches.

This brings the Conservatives out en masse to vote. It labored in Ohio in 2004.

Well he is defiantly less radical that any of the other Demarcates. Plus he's already won the popular vote once. I'd vote for him over any of the current candidates. The thing is he's fed up with Washington. He won't run because he knows too much about how things really are.

Amen brother! I'm with you.
Unfortunately, Gore's political machine is the same as Clinton's. So as long as she's running, he probably won't.

He's less dislikeable than Hillary, and he did have an 8 year internship in "Lying to the Sheep" under der Slickmeister. Sure, toss that one in there, even Ron Paul can beat him.
