I have had it check by an engineer and he says its OK

ever since we had the phone line put in the house (june this yr) we have had problems with the line, an engineer came out and said i had pluged things in wrong,he put them in the right place it worked for a few days then the problem started again, we still cant use the phone and the broadband at the same time, can you help????????????

Put a filter on each phone in the house and put the splitter on the jack to which the modem is attached. ALl will work fine!!

If it used to work and now it does not, something has changed.

I suspect you have removed the DSL filters from voice lines. This will be a problem. You need a DSL filter before each voice set to filter out the DSL frequency which fouls the voice.
