A friend of mine has been seeing a married man off and on for over a year. Please don't comment on that situation, I've told her what I think and we'll leave it at that. However, she just took off with him for a week to his home town....yes, the same town where he lives with his wife and kids. He's here when he works for two weeks a month then home for two weeks. Anyways...she just got back into school and she is jepordising that and she lost her job over taking off all of the sudden. I text her to ask about where her 3 year old son is and she stopped responding to me, so she probably dumped him on a realative for a week. Anyways...if this was your friend would you tell her that you think she's screwing up her life or just let it go? And if you said something, how would you go about doing so?

In my opinion I would tell her I do not agree with what you are doing, not because of moral reasons...to each his own, but because you have a 3 year old son that you need to think about in all of this. It is not fair to him to be dumped on relatives and have a mom out of a job and living off of the system so that she can get her rocks off. If this is the lifestyle you are chosing then fine but just know that I don't support it and WILL not be part of it. If she didn't have children it would be one thing...like I said to each his own but she needs to think of her kiddo. Just my opinion!

I have a friend who I feel has had a nervous breakdown. All of a sudden, everybody in her family was out to ruin her financially. She even implemented someone in the congregation as a conspirator too.

Because she's in her 50's, I suggested that she have a FSH blood test done to check her hormone levels to see if she was in the menopause, maybe that would explain her strange behavior. she didn't listen......of course, she's the kind of person who never listens to anyone, she's the only one with the right answers.
I told her that I thought she was losing her mind, so did her family members and we suggested that she check herself into a hospital and get some help. She didn't!

So, tell your friend if you think she needs help, maybe she will listen to you, maybe not.....but at least you tried to help her.

yes i would, since she didn't listen to you, maybe she'll listen to her folks, tell her parents what she's doing, or maybe even her grandma, you can also tell her to call you when she stops the affair with him for good.
