they both were great but for different reasons, Al was great because no matter what crap he got, he gave it back, and he had some great one liners. Like "hooters hooters yum yum yum, hooters hooters on a girls that's dumb." Archie was great, because he dealt with self-righteous liberals all the time, and of course he was made to look bad and like racist since the director Norman Lear was pretty liberal. That's how Hollywood does it. Archie also had some great one liners such as "God don't make no mistakes that's how he got to be become God"

Al Bundy! That's just because he's the one that I used to watch all the time growing up. I watched some of Archie Bunker's shows but not as much as The Bundy's!! LOL! Loved em!

Right or wrong at least Archie had the fundamentals of raising an intelligent daughter. I could do well with him.
