I agree with a good deal of your consensus. But you have to remember it is hard to build a brick wall when you have someone tearing down the bricks on the other side.
Some, I disagree with:
1. Post Iraq Planning; that should be left up to the Iraqi people. Tell me of another war where there was post planning for the outcome?
2. Social Security Reform: The president does not want anyone to retire into poverty. The presidents plan is to combine progressive indexing with voluntary personal retirement accounts to ensure everyone benefits continue to grow. Everyone would have the opportunity to build a retirement fund they could own and control. He would not have any changes for those born prior to 1950. He has met opposition to this plan.
3. No Child Left Behind ? You can drag a teacher to her desk, but you cannot make her teach effectively, and where are these children's parents?
Can we blame the president for all the work that still needs to be accomplished? He is one man who without the cooperation on all levels of government.............
Shouldn't we focus more on what has been done and look for a better future?
It also gave me pause to wonder at what level the average American gets involved in what the government does?

Supreme Court Picks A+ . . . he appointed that idiot Harriet Meyers.
Economy A-we are headed for recession Professor; largely because of Bush's deficit spending.
Restoring honor and dignity-this is a very subjective category. Obviously we differ in the definition of those terms.
Tort Reform????
War on Terror-I would agree that he gets an A since it is a war that he made up I guess he gets to define the goals and successes. National defense I would give him a D for squandering our resources in the wrong places.

I'd actually would've given him an A+ for starting the War on Terror or War on Islamofascism.
Presently, I'd give him a B for not fighting it aggressively enough and for not doing anything about the insane amount of political correctness hampering our war efforts.

No president in HISTORY has failed our country more than Bush (just my opinion), though he is not the dummy that everyone thinks he is. He has accomplished almost all of what he set out to do 7 years ago, which is mainly fleecing the US treasury and handing out the pork to his filthy rich buddies. He is directly responsible for the biggest deficit in our country's history, leaving the biggest international mess any president has made in recent memory, and leaving the country in a lot worse shape then when he took it over. But again, he and his buddies got what they wanted. Good job Bush. You da man!
