I think its really wrong to broadcast that show on daytime telly.
It is encouraging ppl to solve their problems with a physical fight. And the audience is cheering them and asking for more. I am sure none of these ppl were abused or lived in domestic violence. Oh yeah, and some of the ppl in the audience will flesh their boobs just to get some plastic pearl necklace.
Do you think its right showing this program especially daytime..?

I think it most markets that show has run its course and we won't have to worry about seeing it much longer but you are right it is pointless and awful that its been on this long when Jerry Springer show first aired in the early 90's he dealt with real people and real problems but that didn't make good ratings or money for Jerry so he sold out to sell america garbage. No, it is not at all appropriate for it to be aired in daytime. 1:00 am would probably be the best time for it if it has to be on, not 4 p.m. like it is in the market here which as I said I don't know who's watching it around here but apparently someone likes that trash. I wish Jerry Springer would stick with americas got talent and leave the trash talk show behind he's made enough money off it by now i'm sure. Even his own old body guard steve has a show thats poetry compared to his I think its time he heard Jerry Jerry Jerry for the last time.

Not only is it violent with phyiscal fighting, but it seems that every show is centered around cheating lovers, threesomes, family members sleeping with one another, prostitutes/strippers or weird fetishes. Definitely not appropriate for daytime television at all. I think it's worn out its welcome and needs to leave the airwaves. At least Steve Wilkos helps people get their lives back on track with HIS show.

Its a form of entertainment, you're not suppose to act out what you see on tv, you are implying that if I watch a movie during "daytime tv" and some one is beat up or shot that I'm going to run out and do this too. Jerry Springer is extreme tv at its best - it is not a talk show you watch if you want to solve problems, if you don't like it change the channel!!!

I agree. You see the ad says that it is not suitable for kids (ok they are at school) but what about when they are not?
I read somewhere the whole show is fake so I didnt bother watching it.

That show has become stupid and a waste of time. They don't even really fight and all of it looks so fake. It's one of the dumbest shows on television!

and if you have a 2 year old watching it while her mom of his mom is watching it through the day, then isnt that painting the wrong picture for the toddler?
i think it is a good programme though, but should be shown a little later..

it's funny. i'm glad they show it when they do. although if it was on late at night, i'd stay up to watch it.
