It's for the alumni to come back "home" to their respective schools, whether it be high school or college.

BTW, college homecoming is SO much better.

It is called Homecoming so the past alumni from the school and come back and see each other. It a chance to "come back home".

I don't know, maybe because it's a home game...I'm going to a home coming game tonight...it's funny cause I never went to them when I was in school...
