My 4-year old really likes to draw and is asking for "big paper". We have some errands to run at Lowes, anyway, and I'm wondering if you think they might have something like that and what department I should look in. I prefer individual, poster-sized sheets, but if a roll is the only way to go, I'll get that too... So... does Lowes usually carry paper suitable for drawing with markers & crayons? Thanks!

I'm not asking where else I should go, but where at Lowes (large home improvement store) might I be able to find it. I have some merchandise credit from lowes already and need to go there for other stuff too. Just trying to be efficient. I don't want to drag my kid around to multiple stores if I don't have to.

The office supply store will have big pads of sheet paper that she can prop up on an easel or put down on a table. I have seen them in office Max and Staples. She sounds like a fun kid!

Like others have posted Lowes might have moving supplies...the name of the paper typically used to pack dishes is called Kraft Paper. It comes on a roll and generally is brown. The reason it might be good for your 4 year old is that kraft paper can be somewhat thick and durable.

Moving supply stores would also carry this paper and sometimes too restaraunt supply stores carry the roll paper that you might use to cover table tops with.

This is in addition to the basic office supply, Craft or general stores.

No, I don't think Lowes carries what you are looking for. The best place to get "big paper" would
be at your local newspaper. Most newspapers sell
end of the roll newsprint paper for a few dollars.
This paper is ideal for art work and is used in
schools.

Lowes has moving supplies, and thus should have a bundle of large sheets of paper meant for wrapping dishes in (about 2'x2', off white). The bundle would be stacked and folded in thirds but not creased so should work for crafts.

You'd probably be better off going to a craft or art store...although a place like Wal-Mart may have what you're looking for.
