Are you sure your name isn't Calvin? Do you have a stuffed tiger named Hobbes?

Bats aren't bugs; they're mammals.

And no, they don't bite you on the neck, and even if they did, you wouldn't turn into a vampire from it.

EDIT: Ha ha...I guess the person who thumbs-downed me never read "Calvin and Hobbes". Too bad.

Bats are mammals. Like you and I, they are warm blooded and bear young living.
Kingdom: Animalia (Animals)
Phylum: Chordata (Possess a basic 'backbone')
Class: Mammalia* (Mammals)
Order: Chiroptera (Bats)

Perhaps you are confused. Maybe it is a bug you are supposed to be writing about.

My gosh; I would not have believed there were so many people who haven't read Calvin and Hobbes. Disappointing; probably that's why the country's as messed up as it is these days. Good luck on your report!

Bats are not even insects, they are mammals.

Nocturnal insects, put in moths. These creepy crawlies are very common...
And why would classify bats as bugs?
:D
