John Lennon, because I really think he would have been a great proponent of getting the U.S. out of Iraq. Much like he did during the Vietnam War, he could have organized peace demonstrations, written anthems for world peace, and spoken out against the President's decision to keep the troops in Iraq. I think what we're missing in this day and age is a person like John who can use his celebrity status to raise awareness for world events which go unnoticed by and large for the youth of America. Here we are showing footage of Paris Hilton going to jail on CNN, but most high school students don't even know what (or where) Darfur is- I think a celebrity like John could put these world events into perspective and cause our young people to understand what is really important and what is just sensationalized media.

Princess Diana, she did a lot of work with the sick in Africa and other countries and I think that if she was still here today, she'd be able to get the publicity that is needed to make money to help them.
