There are two aspects connected with betting.!
1. Betting with-out influencing the outcome through players , and ,
2. Betting and influencing the players to get a particular result.
I agree with Saharaj.
Cheating should to be punished, who ever is involved.!!!

i have heard that ganguly was involved in fixing matches! where he was supposed to get out under a specific number of runs before the 4th odi.
