It is a new low in American politics attacking a 12 year old and his brain damaged sister and their family!

OK tis kid already gets SCHIP , he is in this situation because his mom or dad was going too fast for road conditions , if the democrats are so concerned ..why have non of them offered to adopt a low income family ....
I know this kid is in bad shape I do not dispute that ...the SUV he was riding slid off the road when they hit a patch of black ice .....OK I got it ......there is no such thing as an accident with a car , there is however the thing called collisions ...who ever was driving , was going to fast for conditions which is a charge anyone in a single vehicle crash is charged with .... this crash was caused by going to fast , which is nothing but negligence , why should I have to pay because the one in charge of this kids life was reckless ,and irresponsible ...why ????

Did the SUV's insurance not cover passengers medical bills that are injured in collisions , the parents injured the kid , not me ...

The republicans always resort to attack politics when they feel threatened by reality so unfortunately I was not surprised-dismayed but not surprised.
As far as the person who mentioned Keith Olbermanns name in vain-I think people like yourself are frightened of people who think for themselves-I admire Keith Olbermann for his defense of this family as well as his pointing the finger in the correct direction-I mean come on-what is to be gained by posting this families address on the internet? So that wacko pukes can send hate mail?
Give up-what they have done to this child is appalling!!

Because no child that was eligible for SCHIP is now ineligible. The only thing that was vetoed was an expansion of the program to cover people up to 25 and with incomes well over twice mine. The libs and the press are spinning this inorder to seize political power for themselves and are using the children as political tools and that is plain sick

The problem is that the liberals tried to "Michael J. Fox" the conservatives with this kid. From what I understand, this child was not denied benefits and the changes in the law would not have taken his benefits away. Liberals have to be more careful in selecting their "victims" because anyone they prance out into the limelight will be scrutinized.
As for the program itself, how can you justify extending coverage to those who can afford health insurance? Where does it stop? You know, I can afford food, but the government should provide it to me free.

Was Reid and the other opportunists that enjoyed the misfortune of that family, and the way in which that kid was paraded in front of the cameras was disgusting.
