I can't think of any liberal positions she's taken except for her position on health care.

She was head of the young republicans in college and attended the 1968 republican convention.

The Clintons are closer to being Republican than Bush is.

The rampant spending of Bush says it all. And before I hear about how Clinton did nothing about Islamic terrorism, tell me what did Reagan do (except arm them)? What did the first Bush do?

Neither Carter, Reagan, Bush or Clinton addressed the issue at all.

Every Democrat to win the presidency since JFK has been a southern democrat. I think the rich people who prefer the plebeian politics to the top side politics are upwardly mobile. It could also be, that adopting the perceived liberalism of the democratic ticket gives them an advantage with the voters. In states where there is a top heavy distribution of wealth with little relief for the beleaguered and under represented poor, I think they go with whichever party will help them raise the most funds; giving them the best chance to win. It's all based on compromise anyhow......

Yes, she is like a Republican but when it comes down the election and there's a choice between her and another Republican I will pick her.

In the primaries I wouldn't vote for her though.

Yes she is in the back pockets of several large industrial lobbyists.
Just another bought and paid for politician.
And HillaryCare IS supported by many large businesses. Why??? So they will not have to supply their workers the health care insurance they deserve,

They are the same. Don't get tangled up in the Republican's or Democrats. Think for yourself, don't let a party think for you. Be an independent.

I have heard a lot of rotten cut downs on here about Hillary
BUT
calling her a republican has to rate as the meanest yet

Nope

Hillary is a socialist. You don't see Republicans trying to destroy the best healthcare system in the world by imposing socialist medicine. Thats what Hillary and her ilk do.

You don't see Republicans trying to gut the 2nd Amendment with draconian Brady Bills. Thats what Hillary and her ilk do.

You don't see Republicans trying to change the time-honored legal definition of marriage. Thats what Hillary and her ilk do

those types of Democrats are more akin to the old conservatives on fiscal policies many times (though not always)

It's on social issues that they claim their blue blood.

The Clintons are moderates - despite the labels that others attach to them.
They are quite business-friendly...but at least still recognize their obligations to the working people.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

Hillary is the FURTHEST freaking thing from a Republican.

I'd kill myself if I found out enough of the world actually felt that way!
