You would have to reloacte unless the film is shooting in your location and using locals as background talent. Central casting is in Los Angeles and NY. If you're under 18 in LA you would sign up with Kids Background Management http://www.kidsmanagement.com/kids.html

You would also need a work permit, so if you plan to come here you have a lot of paper work to get straight in regards to making sure you can work in this country before applying for the permit. Usually that's a very simple process except that you need to have a social security number. Since you don't have one, maybe you can apply for a tax ID number? I'm not sure how that works, but I'm sure your parents can help you find out.

Maybe you can get started with classes and building a resume in Singapore so that when an opportunity arrises, you will be ready! You never know if they will come looking for local talent when filming in your country. Get training, get credits for your resume & get a legit agent to represent you so that you'll be ready.

good luck!

"Life is Beautiful" won for Best Foreign Language Film, "Shakespeare in Love" won that year. Although fewer British films have taken home best pictures, compared to American, it hasn't mattered in the past. "Slumdog Millionaire" has just as much of chance as any of the other nominations. And honestly, it looks like the front-runner at this point.
