I am an atheist, so I see no use in praying. Indeed when I was a child and had religion forced upon me, I saw no use in praying. If gods exist, they have decided what to do, and many people say gods know best, so why pray at all?

I'm not a religious person after going to Catholic school as a child and having a religious fanatic for a mother, but yes I do pray especially for people with health issues to get well.

Not so much pray as it is hope. I hope for things, for myself and for others. My prayers are more positive thoughts directed to the universe than to a specific god/ higher power

As Paul told us "Pray without ceasing."
I'm not quite there, but I do pray several times a day.
God Bless.
