Number one, stay away from needles, unless you are a diabetic. Needles lead to AIDS, Hepatitus or other lethal illnesses. If someone has that much pent up anger inside, its time for professional couselling, not some amateur at school. They are not equipt to handle serious cases. Sorry, but its the truth. Get yourself into a good counselor that deals in both drug rehab, and personal issues. They will be able to help you find other, safer avenues, instead of needles. Trying to use drugs to get out of your head, run from problems is a one way street with a bad ending. If you don't end up in jail, you will end up dead. If you don't get your fix, you will end up doing things you never imagined you would for the next fix, and its not a road you want to travel.
There are alot of great rehab facilites that are really cool, the counselors are really great, some former addicts, which sounds bad at the offset, but they are college degreed, and know how to talk to kids with issues. Let's face it, if you' re doing drugs, its not to be cool, something is bugging you. Get to the heart of the issue, and I know you wont want to deal with heroin or anything else. Drugs are not your friend, they are the enemy. Cross Roads has programs for all ages, even adults, and some programs are free to families who cannot afford it. Trust me on this one.
If its a need to kill? Again, professional help before you do things you will regret. Its not a sin to say I need help. Its better to say, I am at the brink and need to be helped and stopped before I go too far. Its way cooler to do that, than to kill anyone. Nobody likes a shooter.

When someone has reached that point there is no such thing as a safe outlet. That is an explosion... and any person who has that much anger built up obviously doesn't know how to let it out slowly and deal with it bit by bit (or they wouldn't be in this situation to start with)... so unless they receive therapy they will explode in one form or another... (whether it be on someone else or a complete mental breakdown)

You need to call a local mental health agency immediately. Don't be a copy-cat! This is not the way to solve anything. You'll live with the results the rest of your life, and your family will be hurt and harassed and sued, etc. Are you in danger or being bullied? If you are, go to your counselor at school right now. There are ways to stop this.

Go see a counselor with experience in anger management. Talking about the frustrations leading to the anger is often very helpful in resolving it. It will also help to problem solve the causes of that anger.

Um...as ominous as that question sounds...
I think they need help from professionals immediately. They aren't insane necessarily, but they need counseling, maybe medication, or something like that. I am curious on what people are thinking when they plan a shooting, but I don't really want to know either. One thing: They need IMMEDIATE professional help.
PS: I'm kidding about the question being ominous...although it is creepy considering the news...

If you are talking about someone under 18, it seems to me that someone (friends, teachers, parents) would have noticed anger issues and pursued anger management classes or mental health professionals. I believe it boils down to parental involvement in their children's lives, i.e. negligence. If you are talking about an adult, sadly, it is probably too late.

instead of shooting a bunch of other people and then shooting yourself, start out by killing yourself then work on the others.
Leave a note telling them of the option you chose so they know they got of lucky.
