Anemic means your body is low on iron. Many teens are anemic due to poor eating habits. You may feel tired quite a bit of the time, lack normal amounts of energy, get dizzy, have less strength than you normally have. Your hair may become dull and your skin may lack normal lusture and be more prone to break outs.
Easy enough to find out if you are, it is a simple blood test at the doctor.
Easy to treat as long as you do not have a metabolic disorder. Change your eating habits. Find foods that are high in digestable iron, one of the best being liver. By the way, (as you cringe and gag as I mention the word liver), calves liver is the best, doesn't have the strong taste or smell to it and if it is cooked properly, is really, really good.
There are also iron pills, but careful with those, they can be hard on your stomach, change the colour of your urine and bowel movements and can really constipate you!

Anemic is an iron deficiency. if you are tired, pale skin, irritable, if your tongue is sore or your nails brittle? do you get headaches in the front....not all over. not hungry when you should be? shortness of breath? how bout weak...do you get weak for no reason? these are signs of being anemic. and you should start taking iron tablets.
you can get Iron supplements at any drug store.
women are the most likely to have anemia, and a complete physical including blood work should be done by your doctor to determine if this is what you have. good luck

In your blood you have red blood corpuscles and white ones. The white ones fight infection and the red ones carry oxygen round your body. A nornmal red blood count is 12- 15 for a female and if it is lower than this you get breathless, pale and tire very easily. If your mother suspects it then I strongly suggest that you visit your GP and have a blood test done. It is easily rectified by eating foods high in iron like liver, red meat, spinach etc or by taking iron tablets. Anaemia can also be caused by excessive bleeding as in heavy or prolonged periods so get these checked out if you have them.Good luck and see your doctor as soon as possible.

Anemia (AmE) or anæmia/anaemia (BrE), from the Greek (Ἀναιμία)(an-haîma) meaning "without blood", is a deficiency of red blood cells (RBCs) and/or hemoglobin. This results in a reduced ability of blood to transfer oxygen to the tissues, causing tissue hypoxia. Since all human cells depend on oxygen for survival, varying degrees of anemia can have a wide range of clinical consequences. Hemoglobin (the oxygen-carrying protein in the red blood cells) has to be present to ensure adequate oxygenation of all body tissues and organs. The three main classes of anemia include excessive blood loss (acutely such as a hemorrhage or chronically through low-volume loss), excessive blood cell destruction (hemolysis) or deficient red blood cell production (ineffective hematopoiesis). In menstruating women, dietary iron deficiency is a common cause of deficient red blood cell production.
Anemia is the most common disorder of the blood. There are several kinds of anemia, produced by a variety of underlying causes. Anemia can be classified in a variety of ways, based on the morphology of RBCs, underlying etiologic mechanisms, and discernible clinical spectra, to mention a few.
There are two major approaches of classifying anemias, the "kinetic" approach which involves evaluating production, destruction and loss[1], and the "morphologic" approach which groups anemia by red blood cell size. The morphologic approach uses a quickly available and cheap lab test as its starting point (the MCV). On the other hand, focusing early on the question of production may allow the clinician more rapidly to expose cases where multiple causes of anemia coexist.

anemic means: you´re not eating well and you have a lack of nutrients in your body, you can know by looking at your eyes; press your below lashes down, to see the skin inside the eye from below, it must be red, or pink if it is more white than pink, you can have anemia.
Also you can develop white spots in your skin mainly your arms.
You can feel weak and tired due to the lack of iron.
You have to start eating well vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, and cereals, stay away of chunk food and flours with sugar like cakes and cookies; they just make the problem worst.Flour doens´t really nourish you but makes you fat.
Good luck! ;D

They will try to touch you in private areas and rape you. Wearing revealing clothing attracts the boys and they will do anything to get sex. Example: You are walking down the hall and a few boys are checking you out. You walk past them to get to the bathroom. You don't realize it but they follow you. Once you are in the bathroom they grab you and start touching you or removing clothes. Then they force you to have sex with them. A lot of girls wear revealing clothing to get the guys attention which is really the whole point of revealing clothing. I am not trying to scare you but you need to be careful if you are going to dress that way. More often than not dressing in revealing clothes causes nothing but trouble.

it means you have less blood cells in your body than the average person. Your bone marrow maybe not producing enough. That means less oxygen to the body leaving you feeling tired. It can be due to menstruation.
Younger children is when its usually due to iron deficiency.
Hope this helps, Good Luck!
