The bounderies of friendship is different than being "in" a relationship with a very close friend (bestfriend). When you are "just friends" with someone, you allow the person to act, think and say things without being judgemental. If you are "in" the relationship, some things might not meet your approval or hurt you. So weigh it down girl. If you are ready to accept that same "friend forever" of yours in a romantic relationships without asking that person to change for you... then I think you are for the "beyond friendship" thing.

Well no matter what when you go beyond just being friends it changes the relationship, so you do risk the fact that if you move the relationship into a intimate one that your emotions will change towards eachother and if for some reason it doesn't work out that your friendship could be over.
Most people that get involved in a relationship that it ends want nothing to do with the other person.

I've been out with a couple of my friends, we had a great time while it lasted, we enjoyed the same things and the same places as we'd went about with the same crowd from school days. One of them we parted still friends the other one unfortunately it ruined the friendship, they couldn't cope with seeing me chatting to other blokes, even though they had been mates before we got together and I wasn't doing anything different to what I did before going out with them. But as I say they just couldn't hack it. At the end of the day you know them and should be able to judge how you feel if it is just friendship or if you have other feelings towards them. Good luck whatever you decide.

Sometimes friendship can lead to love but beware of the effect it may have if/when the love ends. Your friendship can be lost forever!

it really depends if you where really really good friends then i would because then at least we might still be cool with each other in the end but you know it would never be the same again but then again i wouldn't want to jeopardize the whole thing so i guess that really depends.
