There should be a plate inside the cab giving all the weight limits.

The DAF 45 is classed as a 7.5 tonne gvw -with a payload of around 3 tonnes (they were classed as a 3 tonner in the old days when I were a lad!!) the 130 refers to the nominal BHP output from its Cummins engine - a bit gutless at this output -(they go up to about 180 bhp in newer models) .They are capable of towing a trailer, the maximum train weight will also be on the 'ministry plate'

Should me a maximum of 7490kgs. The Ministry of Transport plate situated somewhere in the cab will give the exact weight for the vehicle.

That will depend entirely on the body type. The gross weight will be around 7,490kg.

So, if it's a flat-bed, the kerb (empty) weight could be as low as 3,500kg. If it's a tipper, the kerb weight could be as high as 4,750kg. A curtain-side or box-body will be somewhere in between, depending on the exact type of body fitted.
