Ok. I'll try to keep this short. My husband and I were looking at videos here on the net. He ran into one where they show sick people skinning cats because their country is over populated with them. What gives them the right to do that? Can't they just euthinize them or fix their cats instead of watching them suffer? I couldn't watch the video and from what I did see. It torments me now. What do you think? If for some reason you want to see it e-mail me and I will give you the website address but I'm not sure exactly where it is so you will have to find it yourself and I refuse to put it as a link. This question actually made me feel sick!!! (I do not mean you the questioner) Somebody above ^^^ said we kill deer etc so what is the difference, maybe somebody should skin him!! The difference is in the way an animal is killed! I am not a veggie but I do believe in humane treatment of animals. Unfortunately I know some eastern countries have cruel ways with animals. I could not watch the video and wish it could be given a violation!!!

Just another reason I am proud to be an American!
Every country has its own rules/laws. I'm sure they could just fix them or euthinize them but then they couldn't make that video :( People are just sick sometimes.

Man basically is an animal. the animal instincts are there in him. Culture and civilization have made him a civilized person.
When you hate something, the amount of hatred will instigate the intensity of your action. This will not be acceptable to another person who does not have that much hatred. There are people who eat the brains of live monkeys, there are people who drink the blood of jsut killed snake. these are different ways in different places. Do not go into judgement.
When a plane crashed in Alps mountains, the surviving people had to eat the flesh of their co passengers who wer dead. These are facts of life. What principles you foloow are applicable only to your place. So be it.

I think if thier country is over run by cats they need a different, more humane way to be rid of them. I DO NOT want to see the video. Maybe if thoer country is over run they have less food. Maybe they skin them for the meat. Other countries have to make due with what they get.

That is pretty bad. It could be dinner for these people or it might be what they know. Most people don't have the luxury of having cats and dogs for pets. I'm not excusing them, that's just life. Be grrateful only assholes like Michael Vick generally torture animals in this country.

OK, dont we kill other animals to eat. Now how you seen an autopsy being performed, they do the same thing, with utmost brutality, if you want to see an autopsy email me I will send you the link. Its survival of the fittest, if they dont kill the cats, the cats will grow in number to such an extend that they will start eating humans. Fix them? they are fixing them in a way they see fit.

oh god...that must be such a gross sight....why do ppl do such crazy things...they could just sterilize the cats and control the population or something...some serious sadists get fun from such sick acts...the govt in that country shld take some action for such cruelty!!

if they really wanted to get rid of the cats, just send them overseas to another country or something.
I saw a dolphin massacre video in YouTube, and it is sooo gross and cruel to the dolphins.

That's sick. Are you sure they were not serving them as sweet and sour cat? I saw a similar site where they were doing that and passing it off as chicken. They did it with dogs too.
