my fiance was on probation for property damage.someone stole from her so she spray painted the persons house. she did 6 months in prison.she just broke her probation.by taking pills. it was a time mistake. but now her probation going to ask the court to send her to prison for 2 years.she was doing really good.and think she should be giving another chance.prison doesnt help people.what can i do to try and keep her from going back??? would a petition help if i get alot of people to sign it.anyone have any ideas that would help change the probations mind.

The chances are high that she may be going back to the slammer. She may not do the whole 2 years but she will do more time and most likely they will extend her probation.

Wow. Spray-painting someone's house instead of calling the cops on them, and now doing drugs -- you're a lucky guy.

A petition might help, but what would be better is a statement from her PO asking for leniency, or at least for more probation instead of jail time. I'm sure she has a public defender, get that lawyer to argue to the judge that your fiance isn't violent (I hope) and therefore doesn't deserve a jail sentence.
