Dallas will be something of a betting enigma this weekend, a 5-0 team laying more than a field goal at home. But that's what happens when the Patriots come to town. After opening as five-point home underdogs, many are looking at the 'Boys as a tasty bet, especially since they've outscored opponents 80-42 in Dallas this year.

Impressive numbers to be sure. Tantalizing, even. But don't let 'em fool you into thinking Dallas is a good wager.

Why? Well, if you live by the Romo, you die by him too. While he's been lauded for his gunslinging ways, Romo is still rather careless with the football and his decision making leaves a lot to be desired. He's turned the ball over in all but one of Dallas' games this year and is tied for the second-most interceptions in the league with eight.

That's risky business against a Pats team that thrives on takeaways. In its 34-17 closer-than-it-looks victory over Cleveland, New England's defense had three interceptions and a fumble recovery - those takeaways created 21 points. The Pats are tied with Indianapolis for the league lead in turnover differential at plus-seven. The Patriots' defense has forced 11 turnovers (eight interceptions and three fumbles), and the offense has turned it over only four times (two interceptions, two fumbles).

Romo can ill afford to turn the ball over against New England, but his style leads me to believe he won't be able to avoid it. The Pats win games because they win the turnover battles, and this week should be no different.

What you have to realize is that every QB who has ever played the game of football has had a bad game. Tom Brady is NOT god and he sure as HECK is not perfect. Tony Romo threw 5 INT and still kept his focus and brought his team back for a win. Does that mean nothing? I would think that would be pretty dang redeeming. The Patriots play without heart. They play for the paycheck and that is not the way to play the game. The Cowboys are out there week after week having fun and winning. TO is focused on his team and isn't out stirring up trouble. Romo is on the sidelines talking to Jason Garrett constantly, to keep his head in the game and ahead of the other team.
The Patriots haven't played anybody special this year either. Brady was only the top passer in the first 3 games, maybe he is slipping. There schedule so far has been pretty simple.
Dallas' first game was a huge division rival that they dominated over. In week three they played a team that was hailed as the best defense in the league and had just played (and lost) the Super Bowl. I believe that score was 34-10, with Dallas on top. (I know pre-season doesn't really count for much but I do believe the Cowboys beat the Colts in the pre-season opener at Dallas this year.)
Dallas has a great team this year. They are just as talented as the other 2 undefeated teams. There is no reason to count them out or treat them like a red-headed step-child. Show some respect for crying out loud.

Cowboys will win in a close game. The Patriots are the slightly better team, but I see another dramatic cowboy game where they find a way to win.

Everyone keeps talking about the Patriots offense. I guess they forgot that the Cowboys have the best offense in football right now.

Patriot's will win sunday, Their offense is just to powerful with Moss, Stallworth, Welker, Gaffney, Brady, Watson. And not to mention Sammy Morris has 100 yards rushing his last couple games with a pair of TD's, and hopefully Maroney will be back. The Patriot's Defense is playing well, and if Romo has 5 turnovers like he did in Buffalo, the Patriot's are going to destroy him.

Cowboys. 31-28.

If it was in New England I believe they would get crushed.

But it is not.

I vote the Patriots as a bigger black eye to the NFL right now, with the video taping thing and Rodney Harrison taking steriods.

This shouldnt even be a question. The cowboys really aren't very good. Who have they played? The bears with grossman, the bills, the giants, the dolphins, and the rams. Are you kidding? If you like massacres then you'll like this game.
