We were at a party last Friday night and they played it THREE TIMES! I am so sick of it and refuse to dance to it anymore!

It WAS a party, a 50th birthday party for a white guy who loves Sci Fi, so everyone had to dress up as their favorite character. Hubby and I went in black combat gear (Stargate SG1) even though we never watch it, but it seemed like the easiest costume to come up with!

The Electric Slide is terrible. I'm so sick of it. I've been going to a lot of weddings lately and of course they play it everytime. They like to play another one too....I'm not sure of the name, but it has something to do with clapping your hands. Also the Marcarena is another one of those terrible songs they play at parties all the time.

Hrm. They have that black folk version of it that's pretty hip. If it weren't for them two songs though I doubt anybody would be dancin but the puerto rican guy and his date.
