That's a good question, I guess many Americans have little interest in Politics because they rightly consider all politicians to be the same.

But they have Giuliani's 9/11 photo op's imprinted on their brain.

Most of us here do extensive research into the candidates. We are also very aware of the marketing used to sway votes. The majority of voters go with what they want to hear, and on Y/A we want to know how you will pay for it. There is a big difference in people who watch ads and use name recognition to vote versus those that spend time on our own to find the good and the bad about the candidates.

the polls just like the media are deceiving, I can't stand Giuliani I think little of anyone who exploits something like Sept 11th for political gain, and is all ready scaring Americans into war with Iran... I CAN'T understand why ANYONE would like him to be our next president

I don't think that the participants in the Politics section of Y!A necessarily represent a cross-section of voters.

As a Democrat, I like the guy. He shares many of my same views, except for the endless war in Iraq.

However, a lot of his campaign is built on leadership after 9/11....if it wasn't for that tragedy, he would of never ran. That's why many New Yorkers don't like him.

I like Rudy and will vote for him if he wins the GOP nomination.
