I just have a feeling that the older generation seem to, more religiously than the young. Right or wrong.

i own 2 recyling boxes and i use more than both in a weekend.

in our houe we recycle everyhting i possibly can.

im 19 and i live with my 20 year old brother.

however i do believe that the older generation do tend to recycle more, or this is this picture of older people doing it more, however some of us young people are just as concerned about the environment as they are.

Yes. I would have to agree there, but these days some schools are getting their students to recycle stuff by making things from jars or boxes etc. like pencil holders or jewelry boxes, and having them collect & take cans and bottles to recyling points. I have no idea if they do that at home though or just because it is a school project.

I have old newspapers collected and someone comes to pick them up every month or so and sells them to a reclying company. They keep the money from that for actually taking the papers there.

A lady I know sometimes takes jars off me and actually takes them back home to use as spice jars etc.

Egg crates can be used to help start off babarcue fires.

Vegetables & fruit skins are taken to a farm where animals enjoy it.

Water used to wash veggies etc. is thrown on the garden.

I'm 25 and my partner is 27, we recycle as much as we possibly can. Although we didn't do any a year or two ago. But have made a real effort to change the way we live to accommodate recycling. Its not that hard once you start.

Yes, but not because I even wanted to. My 6 year old started asking questions about recycling and I was explaining it to him, and our neighbor recycles and she had an extra bin so my son and I started doing just our water bottles and milk jugs, and for whatever reason, it does feel a little good knowing we are contributing, at least a tiny bit, to help out. Oh and I am 39.

I recycle everything that my council wants me to. Once you get used to doing it it becomes just as easy as throwing it in the bin. Even my children do it without having to be told now. I am in my early thirties-please tell me that isn't old!!!

We just moved into a community where it's a huge deal, so we're learning the recycle lingo....never had to before.

I do at work - but there aren't any recycling facilities where I live so I can't! Shame really as it is so true - the possibilities are endless!
