recalls are for our safety but it seems recalls are more towards then end of the yr when the x mas season is upon us.. its just a way of making supply short and demand high

The announcements are important, but it is showing the absolute impotence at the federal level of forcing foreign governments and multi-national corporations to comply with sensible safety standards.

If I was cynical, I would say it's a conspiracy by all involved of profit before safety, until the threat becomes an epidemic and can no longer be ignored.

My answer to this is where is the government protection that they say we have?? How come this stuff wasn't tested before it came into this country to begin with? and why aren't they protecting us from all the E coli out breaks with our food chain? seems that every other day there is another report of something....
But yet they get there hefty paycheck don't they.

I am. My son had his James recalled and it took nearly 3 months for the replacement. It was his fave toy, now b/c of the absence he could care less

DONT SUPPORT CHINA!!!! you think they havent been doing this too us for years already? do you honestly think this is something that just started? america consumes and wastes so much and corporations keep looking for the cheapest way to make big money cheap it just goes to show you get what you pay for BUY AMERICAN!!!
