I'm only in my mid 20's and I have occasional chest pains on my left side. It sort of feels like the beginning of a cramp or something. It's never been unbearable, just really tight once or twice. What should I do about that?

What's up? I'd just be willing to bet a doctor might be able to tell you 'what's up.' So I'd say: Get thee to a doctor before a funeral director gets his chance at you!!!

Go NOW.

I just read the rest of your post. GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE, NOW. Take that damn car and drive you and your baby away from this jack @$$. Do it when he goes on another of his romps. DO IT NOW. You brushed over that "kinda physical" part. You need to make plans to leave as soon as possible. If he cheats and then beats up on you, he is off his hinges, and you need to protect yourself. If he is going out and not coming back for hours and hours, he may also be on drugs. The alcohol is a cover up for the drug use. Single web sites are where you meet single women. Counseling is a waste of time, he does not hear anything once the counselor shuts the door. It is time to save yourself. Your shortness of breath sounds like panic and or an anxiety attack. This stress is pretty intense for you right now. Hold on, and breath deep. Since you say that you will soon be moving back home in a few weeks, then be ready to go home to your folks. If that is possible. I also get the feeling that he will come up with an excuse for why you won't be moving, he may have just made that up to keep you from leaving him. Let your folks know that you will be coming with or without him. Keep your plans very close to yourself and make a move when he leaves on one of his quests. It won't be long before he leaves and comes back in three days... that's what sex-junkies do. Peace

Sounds like acid reflux. See your doctor.

Does it occur after eating/drinking certain foods?
Many people experience this from coffee/spicy foods, etc.

I used to experience it so bad it felt like a heart attack.
Problem solved with Over the Counter Prilosec.
Can eat/drink anything now and never a pain.

It could be gas pains, a gallbladder attack, or angina. I would recommend going to a doctor to rule any heart problems first.
