It can be done, but it is not as simple as shown in the movies. The score has to be run and depending on the luck of the scratching, the crack may have relief or not. Normally, running the crack is done from the other side. It would be easier if instead of cutting a circle, an arc across one corner, then straight lines from the arc to the corner so it breaks out toward the gasket.

Yes. Working in the glass business we cut glass daily. However you have to know what kind of glass you are working with. Laminate or Plate Glass you can, Tempered glass you can not.
It takes a careful hand as to not break it (I have broke plenty). But can be done.

It would be possible but depending on hole size ,glass thickness it could be difficult and if the glass is tempered you can not cut after tempered . Good luck .

Yes, they sell glass cutters in the hardware store, it's like a sharp pizza slicer, only smaller. It doesn't cut on the first try though, like you see in the movies, it takes rolling over glass more then several times.

It's possible but not like they do it in the movies.You can't break a circle and pull it out as a circle.
But you can score a circle then score a x breaking it out piece by piece.

do you mean the ship that is inside the bottle ? some prisoners in Philippines do some stuffs like that, they do it one by one making a ship inside the small hole of the bottle.
