"...The US government has been accused of secretly developing robotic insect spies amid reports of bizarre flying objects hovering in the air above anti-war protests...."

Bernard Crane, a lawyer who was at the same event, said he had "never seen anything like it in my life". He added: "They were large for dragonflies. I thought, 'Is that mechanical or is that alive?'"
The incident has similarities with an alleged sighting at the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York when one peace march participant described on the internet seeing "a jet-black dragonfly hovering about 10 feet off the ground, precisely in the middle of 7th Avenue".
They all described seeing a row of spheres the size of small berries attached along the tails of the "dragonflies".

They also reported seeing at least three together. Mr Louton said that dragonflies never fly in a pack.

It is possible ever since the US military started to create unmanned air vehicle (UAV) called predator, which was used in Bosnia and during the invasion of Iraq, and is currently being used in Afganistan. During its development Our scientist are also developing a Mini version of UAVs. The problem they had encountered is the power supply as the weight of the battery cannot be supported by the small lift generated by its wings. If this is true, then our scientists have overcome its primary problem.

The concept of UAV is to have real time video verification of the location of the enemy assets, etc., meaning to spy.

But spying on anti war protester? Maybe they are testing their creation.

i don't know whats going on but for country like USA making things like that would be like drinking water. its very easy to make i would imagine, and if they have a use for it they will use it. there are a lot of weapons that we have not yet heard of but the governments are developing and have developed. people like us don't need to know everything. these are called secret weapons that are revealed only during a very tough conflicts. every civilization in history have had some sort of secret weapon against their enemy. i have heard rumors of small controlled drones being used in the second world war by American spays, so this is probably quite old.

No, No, No Cookies. Don't think FBI or CIA or NSA! You need to be thinking M.I.B. and those were just some visitors trying to ejoy the moment. Trying to have a vacation and see what political unrest is like. They don't have that on their planet. Shall I call you, CEE?

Some here-say but no pictures? I imagine that mini spy cams would also not fly in a pack. What would be the purpose?
