I use to be a manager at wendy's and the meat isn't frozen just refridgerated. The store i worked at got a shipment in 3 times a week it is all about volume and good ordering. The meat doesnt have a very long shelf life before u have to cook it. They also use that meat for Chili which is another way to control the amount that is being used.

that's real, i know somebody who works at Wendy's. think of roughly it, once you bypass to the food market you will see floor beef interior the freezer and you will see clean floor beef interior the cooler. it is going to final for some days as quickly as refridgerated, same because it does at abode. the different places can get a delivery as quickly as a week with a tom of frozen beef, Wendy's subsequently desires to be provided extra oftentimes. Wendy's does not waste the burgers the two, as quickly as they're cooked, any unsold burgers are saved for his or her chili.

That's not true. They probably just go through so mcuh meat in a day it doesn't have time to spoil. I used to work at a Culver's. Their meat is also never frozen. It does come sort of vacuum sealed though to help prevent meat from spoiling. We never had rotten meat the entire 5 years I worked there. I'm guessing wendy's is the same.

Wendy's have local warehouses that service only the Wendy's in the area so the beef along with produce, paper products and other stuff are delivered fresh to the restaurants several times a week. Wendy's also has its own local bakeries and to bake its own buns and bread so it can be delivered fresh several times a week.

Same way there is always fresh beef delivered to your local grocery, it will certainly keep for 3-4 days in the refridgerator, its not that perishable, Wendy's doesn't waste any either, cooked hamburger goes into making the chili right on the premises.

If the patties were vaccum sealed they would last longer with out spoiling. Now I dont remember but do they say the patties themselves havent been frozen. If they do, then the meat could be frozen in bulk and the patties be made there with a "patty" machine and technically the patties would never have been frozen.
But honestly I dunno. I hope someone that works there or has worked there hops on and tells us. I was wondering this myself.

DUDE! NO IDEA: it is HARD NOT TO freeze burgers! I mean common! I would NEVER eat at Wendy's because there burgers were NEVER FROZEN: that just means that they have been sitting around god knows where until someone orders one!! EW! I have tons of frozen burgers in my freezer and dethawing them makes NO difference in taste!!!

They get deliveries daily from local meat distribution centers that are contracted by Wendy's and are delivered in refrigerated trucks

Nope, it is NEVER frozen. The meat is stored in the walk-in cooler. They use so much of it that it doesn't go bad that fast.
