He is kind of out growing what he has right now so I am going to go get him on outfit to wear to my friend's wedding this weekend. What is appropriate for a baby or do you think it even matters?

Don't pay attention to those who are saying that you shouldn't bring him to the wedding. It's OKAY to bring babies to weddings, especially if it's not specifically stated as an adults only celebration.

My son was 4 months old when we attended a cousin's wedding. Had a blast. :) He wore his christening suit, it was all white. He fit into it perfectly at the time, it was way too large on him during his actual christening, LOL, when he was 6 weeks old.

Buy something that is sort of dressy, it's cute to see little ones all gussied up on occasion, especially for a wedding! Have fun!

I have to laugh at all the thumbs down. Why is everyone so freaking disagreeing with good answers? It's sad to see so many trolls around here. Ugh.

People are doing different things these days as times have changed. You could check with a bridal coordinator sometimes they can get stand ins for you. Also, I think it would be lovely for you nine year old to be apart by being the flower girl. It's only myth and tradition that says they have to be little girls to be flower girls. She wouldn't necessarily have to throw flowers but you could give her a cascading bouquet of flowers, different from the other bouquets. Best regards!

Next do some fab trousers and shirts for baby's. The other answers suggest Khaki's, I would agree with them and a nice comfy shirt (make sure you take a change of clothes!)
Or try Debenhams - have a good wedding and all the best to the bride to be and groom.

Well you should definetily dress him up in something, although most of the attention will be on the bride and groom i'm sure. A nice little white outfit would do fine. Or you can dress him up in some little dress pants and a white shirt with a mini tie... if you can find one. Something classic yet still for a baby.

something cute should work. I wouldn't go out and buy the baby a suit or anything because he will grow out of it quickly. But im sure they have some cute outfits that aren't like sleep wear that the baby could wear. possibley khaki's and like a button down?

I don't think it matters as long as you don't just put him in a "onesy". Dress him in a way that it will be easy to change him during the wedding and something that will also be comfy as the wedding will probably ensue a good part of the day in which he will be away from home.

If you want him to look dressier, I'd say a cute pair of khakis and a polo shirt (it might be more comfortable for him than a button down shirt). Really, babies pretty much look cute in whatever they wear, so as long as you don't put him in a dirty old onesie and a stained bib, everyone will think he's adorable!!! :-)

I would just go for churchy type clothes. I wouldn't buy anything too fancy, because you don't want him eating it or playing with it all the time. Just something nice and cute.

I just like to make sure that my children are comfortable - trust me - it makes the whole day bearable for everyone. I think suits and things are cute on babies but they don't like to be in them and that will make for a cranky baby. Just get a cute outfit that you like in a cotton. You can get pants and a t-shirt so he looks more 'mature' haha. Have fun at the wedding!

In a cute lil baby tux or in some nice pants and a button up shirt. maybe even a tie. I know they have them around Wal Mart at Easter and Christmas time.
