We only celebrate the one day that is actually eid but some people do celebrate for three days over here (south africa). guys usually go to mosque in the morn and then we go visit all the family and friends. its customary to give charity as well. most poeple dress up and buy clothes especially for the occasion. Everyone makes tons of yummy stuff to eat when you drop by their house.
we also go to the kabrastaan (graveyard) to visit the deceased, its not haraam.

particular, eid el fitr (the breakfast eve) is sooner or later, yet you're loose to celebrate it as long as you want, in Egypt it is familiar to celebrate it for 3 days eid el adha (sacrifice eve) is 4 days, such as the 4 days of Stone Pelting in Haji, the place Haji throw stones on the column representing the devil on the tip of their pilgrimage

I don't sleep the night before the first day as I pray in the mosque in the early morning, so I sleep the first day.
First and second days are always full of phone calls. Usually the second day I visit relatives and third day at home. Actually if streets are crowded I prefer to stay at home.

One of them is to go to grandma's house where all the family gather, da assasy kol 3eid fetr w kol 3eid ad7a.

I spend the other two days usually with my friends, however, I hope that for coming Eids, there will be someone special that will take me from my friends and even from myself, 2oly Amen.

when i was young i used to celebrate it between restaurants and any other entertainment ways ....
but now ... i am a worker man so it is a little hard to get connected with those people again because of work ...
i will only meet a few friends at the first day ... and the rest will be wasted at work .... :((
Any way Happy Feast to you and whole of Egypt section ...
