This is story, YAHOO frontpage, about a judge in SF (no surprise there) who struck down a law requiring employers to fire people who's names don't match their soc.sec. numbers. AMAZING! To me it makes sense... You lied on your application, we can't trust you, you're fired! easy enough.

the ACLU was established by communist to protect communist so no surprise there, they have been the one who have watered down the Constitution to protect any criminal who comes to the USA and they fight for their 'rights' to our civil liberties.

they sue Christians and protect most others who wish to circumvent our laws for their own purposes.

McCarthy wasn't all wrong nor all bad, read some history and you will find the truth about that period of time in our history and how the communists were rampant in America in our educational system, arts and humanities, and other organizations.

The ACLU is corrupt and out to do no one any good except for themselves. This country is headed down as far as freedoms are concerned. This country has more restrictions now than it was ever intended to have. We feel free because we are told we are a free country but really it is a disguised freedom. There are laws governing everything we do in life - what we eat, what we buy, how we build our houses, how we farm our land, and etc. If we were truly free, these things would not be dictated for us.

The judge's ruling doesn't *prevent* employers from firing employees they don't trust. It simply strikes down a law that *mandates* employers fire those employees.

As you point out, employers - the US Chamber of Commerce - and employees - the AFL-CIO - don't want government bureaucrats interfering in the employer-employee relationship.

Obeying the US Constitution doesn't destroy the USA. It makes the US stronger. It's people like you, who want to subvert the supreme law of the land, that destroy the USA.

Only a person who thinks, child molestation is ok, the availability of kiddie porn is a right, the murderous thug Che Guevara was a great revolutionary & the murder of babies as a choice could stand by the ACLU. Hey that’s the progressives right?

In a perfect world, the ACLU would be charged under RICO laws. They are, in my opinion, a criminal organization guilty of, among other things, extortion and sedition.

I will concede one poster's point that there maybe some actual citizens whose documents maybe be flawed. However any company that hires illegals should be fined $10,000 a day per illegal they have hired. We have plenty of people we can put to work and legal immigrants that can work.

Use overblown rhetoric much?

Okay, lt's get real--the ACLU is not trying to "destroy the USA." You will never be taken seriously, except by cranks, with such rhetorical overkill.

Not everyone whose name doesn't match their social security number lied. Sometimes bureaucratic red tape is incorrect. Surely your right-wing conspiracy theory has room in it for inefficient government error, no?
