You need to contact the Companies you worked for before.

They may well consider putting some contract work your your way, HOWEVER although it sounds great, there are a never ending stream of obstacles put in our way, ..

.. staring with your Local Council, who could potentially refuse to allow it, on the ground's that you are running a business from a property in a Residential Area, or, having agreed, then turn round and try to charge you Business rates..

... your Insurers .. House Contents = they will not want to cover anything not owned by you, and may not cover loss caused during or by your work activities & even Medical (will not want to cover you for anything that might happen during 'work time') and Car Insurance (you may not be covered for accidents driving to pick up or deliver commercial goods)

.. and even the Inland Revenue (who, when you sell your house, may decide that you should be taxed on that portion used for business)
