I have an adult that i want to move out (not the whole family, just him), and he won't move out! I have tried the newspaper and the computer but he still won't move!!!

The lot might be glitched. Try this- open the cheat window, (ctrl+shift+c) and type move_objects on. Go into buy mode, click on the person, and hit delete. When you exit the lot and go back in, he should be standing by the mailbox. Try it then. If that doesn't work, try moving the whole family out from the neighborhood screen and moving them back in.
If that doesn't work, try this- go to sims2.com & post about it on their forum. Include more details- does the option to find own place come up at all? Or does the taxi just never come?
