Maybe it's because most men took gym class when they were that age, and they saw how big the other kids were.
The folks at Kinsey say that the average penis is about 6.25". That means half will be larger, half will be smaller - and it someone is a smidgeon larger than average, the length rounds off to an even 7 inches.
Do you think that a man's penis waits until the age of 27 to achieve full size? I'm sorry but if you're a teenager with a two-inch penis, it's never going to reach three inches.

Wishful thinking. I especially like the question, "I'm 13 and I have a 9" penis. Is that considered small? How do I make it larger?" Like they've never seen another guy's tool and have no idea how big is typical. I suppose it has to do with hormones and male competitiveness, no different than male animals of all kinds strutting their stuff, whether they have anything to show off or not.
And of course, many of them are actually 12 year old girls or 45 year old men. You can't tell here and it's inappropriate to insist that they send pictures....

Maybe wishful thinking or early onset male ego. Mind you some boys post questions like that either because they think it'll shock people or others will because they are quite insecure or lack confidence in themselves so they have to exaggerate to make themselves feel better. Who really knows what goes through a teenage boys mind, it's a very confusing time puberty, whether your a boy or a girl and sometimes we don't exactly act rationally during different times in our lives puberty being one of them.

Nonsense! A wise person would not believe it. Where on earth can you find a 13 yr old boy with 7 inch??? Even a fully developed man can hardly reach that size. If he can stand infront of me, i can reward him $10,000.

At the age of 13 when they begin puberty, they probably see one pubic hair and get excited, so they have to do something to make themselves feel like they're something important, as if they're the only children that go through puberty.
