I'm not a football fan, but in the St Louis Rams/Dallas game I noticed Dallas didn't take any punishing hits on QB Bulger. They only pushed him off the ball or to the ground. Is this class or what?

rams QB Bulger was playing with cracked ribs, why, I don't know. CBs won so whatever all the criticisms of DD, they did it in a sportman like way, and I don't even like Football.

Look, if there is a clean hit to be put on the QB, Bulger would have been gone.

But like any well coached team, they have the discipline to err on the side of caution and be effective on the play without incurring a penalty.

I am a Dallas fan, but even I would have trouble using the word class - there are half a dozen guys there that are great players and are held in high regard across the league for fair but tough play though....

Dallas grow to be enjoying very properly defensively earl in the season, yet they have somewhat dropped the ball the final 2 video games. between the failings that somewhat killed them this evening have been those effects on the Giants final force. they had huge apple pinned on the 50 backyard line, different than Ware had to bounce off aspects. so some distance as Ryan is going, i'm somewhat worried with regard to the competence of the Cowboys preparation team. i will in no way ignore how Jason Garret iced his very own kicker against Arizona. i'm commencing up to doubt the Cowboys will make the playoffs this 365 days.

Rules of the Game..Roughing the Passer, I'm sure they would have sacked him, St Louis Offensive Iine played a good game, instead of bashing one team, try to give the opposing team a little credit, or is it that all you folks can do is trash talk the Cowboys everytime even when they are 5-0, and say "they Haven't played any real teams." What about Chicago? They did Go to the Super Bowl, and the Giants Made it to the Wild Card, they are decent Teams.

I am not sure what Kittylov is basing his/her answer on, but what the heck, I will bite.

There are rules in this game and you can't just hit another player, especially the QB. That would be why you saw no punishing hits.

Now, I AM a Cowboys fan and I hope they beat the Pats, but it isn't likely. Dallas has a major problem in the secondary. Namely...Randy Moss is coming to town. They also have not been able to establish anything in the running game and the Patriots pass defense will have Witten and Owens covered. Hurd and Crayton are going to have to step up if the Cowboys hope to keep it close.

The "Roughing the Passer" rule can be like racing sometimes you know? "Rubbing's Racing". If your gonna be a QB in the NFL, expect to get knocked down. I understand cheap shots when the ball leaves his hand and someone deliberately knocks the **** out of him. But when someone bumps into him and knocks him over and they blow the whistle, just put a dress on him, alright?

If given a good opportunity, they would have laid him out but smart players know when you can and when you can't hit a QB like that. They just didn't get any opportunities.

i see lots of excuses from cowboys fans. and having "class" is another way of saying wussed out. lots of guys take penalties for hitting the quarterback late to get in his head. and any decent defense should have at least 1 sack. the cowboys, in my opinion, have never had much class.
