Firstly the important thing is that there will be a northern hemisphere team in the final.
As an Englishman I passionately want England to win, although not overly confident (which I suspect deep down neither are the French supporters). Lets face it can go either way.It will come down to who can take the pressure when kicking penallties and at this stage both teams will not care how they get the win, as winning is everything - ask any Aussie or Kiwi while they are sitting at home watching it on the telly!
I only wish that our anthem was as half as good as the French.

England fans do talk a lot about Wilkinson. I always thought Rugby was a team sport. It takes all 15 to play after all. Personally, I believe France will beat the English convincingly. I wish England would win because it will make the final easier for the Boks, but I dont see it happening.

Well, my Gallic friend, I think last weekend was the first time I cheered for a French team. Nice job on the arrogant Kiwis. I think much will depend on the weather in Paris on Saturday. Does the Stade de France have a roof? The French team is like a cheap hooker. Plenty of frills but little up front. Your country is to be congratulated for providing the most entertaining world cup ever. Good luck on Saturday but I hope you lose.

Hmmmmmmm! Well to start with, as everybody else has said, France are playing England! As to the game, we'll starve you of the ball. You, the French, will become frustrated and begin to give away penalties. Johnny Wilkinson will find his kicking boots and establish a lead for England. In the final quarter of the game, the French supporters will begin to boo the French players who will then totally lose the plot and fold up, handing England an unlikely, but welcome, place in the final, probably against South Africa, however I wouldn't right Argentina off just yet. They are more than capable of providing an upset!

Have you not learned from the aussie / New Zealanders last week. They were too confident going into the game and they are now watching from home.
Im looking forward to it and enjoy the fact that we go into the game as underdogs.
I also enjoy that the Welsh, Irish and Scotish hate us, everyone expected England to be on the first plane home and for the Irish to be where we are now. But they are all watching from their sofas back home. That is what too much confidence does for you.

What the f*ck do U mean Britain??????????????????
How would you like it if you were playing South Africa & they said South Africa & Europe. I think that you would be the first country up in arms about being called Europe when yourplaying for France.
It is England that are playing France not Britian.
I hope that you stuff them as a Welshman as hadenough of them gloating all over the Telly about being there.

It may be French Fries on Saturday! If France are able to play a running game they will probably win. But the English forwards will try to starve you of the ball so ..................
most likely a kicking game and .........who knows?

But you always lose when you are confident! The French get carried away with a bit of success and fall down. You blow hot and cold. I think we'll beat you at the weekend.
