I think you just don't know where to look for classes. Call local theatres and ask if they have any workshops or classes for kids your age or if they know of any nearby. Chances are they do. Also, check the entertainment section of your newspaper. Near the theatre listings, there's often ads for classes and workshops for young actors. Also, look at classes offered through your city recreation department. Many of them offer some kind of theatre workshop. Another type of place to contact... colleges. During the summer and sometimes during other times of the year they offer classes for kids and even have shows you can audition for as well. Ask for the theatre department head. Another place to try, your state's film alliances, commissions, etc. Do a websearch for your state name and the word film. Those sites often have info on classes and auditions for locals. You can also try backstage.com
Please give all those a try. I certainly can't guarantee you'll find classes, but you have a pretty good chance, don't you think?
good luck!

I don't know your age but if you're an adult on your own I'd advise you to move...Get on out to the west coast or New York and start doing the things that actors do if you're really passionate about this interest. There are many programs available in larger cities. I know it's a huge step but hell, doing is the best kind of learning.
If your interest is more of a side project, then order some material on acting off the web - books, articles, editorials, dvds and etc - they're all out there.
Also in your community take advantage of every opportunity to hone your skill. If you get a chance to speak, do stand up or sell, go for it. The more you're out there the more experience you'll gain...and the more confident you'll become in relating to an audience.

If you want to take classes and just can't find them i'd recommend going to your local community college, most of them have some sort of theatre program and you could take classes through the school or talk to the director of the program and he might have some suggestions for places to take classes.

Go and see as much as you can- theatre in particular but also films, dance, opera, whatever. The more exposure to the arts you get, and the more you get to watch others doing, the more tips you'll pick up and inspiration you'll get. :)
