If I were to buy a Playstation 2 game, which game should I buy?

Question

I'm looking for a Playstation 2 game that I will be able to play for ages.
(Note, this doesn't necessarily mean a long game, just a game that will not get boring easily.)
Please help!
I'm interested in fantasy, action, racing games.

There are a total of 32 games on this list. They are all Platformers/Action games, my favorite kind. I have enjoyed playing all of these games, I still have them and I do not intend to ever get rid of them. I enjoy replaying them from time to time. It's up to you to decide which game to get.

If your interested in fantasy, action and racing games then why not check out the final fantasy games, they've got atleast some fighting, some action and some racing in each of the games that's out there..

Lets see, there's 1 for the nintendo, 2 for the super nintendo, 7 for the playstation, 5 for the playstation 2 (one of which is an online only game) and 2 for the nintendo ds.

Mainly it's up to each video gamer out there to buy the games that their interested in and to find out which games are the hotest and which games are flops..

NO. that doesnt make any sense. Being of newer technology, the playstation 2 disc would be unreadable by the playstation 1 console which is relatively outdated technology. Think about it, man.

Your choice should be MORTAL KOMBAT : SHAOLIN MONKS [Action game + Story game]. In racing game I suggest you SSX Tricky[Snow Boarding game with lot of stunts and new tracks to unlock].
And I think you have also heard about HALO 3. Its very popular now a days. And last thats your choice and I think you should take one of them and I BET that you will never get bore.

ok, most games get boring when you beat them. the games that these people listed, ive beaten, and gotten bored of them.
the only way to avoid this, is buyin an online game. i play socom, which is a third person shooter.

other games that dont seem to get too boring, are games you can customize, like the sims, and most wwe games.
i still have wwf no mercy for the n64, and still play it.

The game I like is a black ops one called BLACK & is available in the platinum colection & doesnt have many cheat's so it's all work. Only problem with is it that you cant save the game mid level which is a pain. There is a Black ll due out soon.
